Most people know Foxborough for the stadium. The rest of the town is woodland, ponds, and comfortable residential neighbourhoods that have nothing to do with game day.

Our work is on that residential side, plus commercial grounds along the Route 1 corridor.

F. Gilbert Hills State Forest and the conservation land across the western side keep a lot of Foxborough wooded. Those properties carry the standard package: shade, acidic soil, heavy fall leaf load, and turf that wants fine fescue and a high cut rather than sun-blend seed.

Neponset Reservoir and the wetland corridors through town mean drainage questions come up regularly. On the low-lying lots, grading and a proper outlet come before any seeding or planting is worth paying for.

The Route 1 corridor brings commercial and hospitality grounds work with a specific constraint: on event days the traffic makes access impossible. We schedule frontage and island maintenance around the stadium calendar, which is simply part of working here.

The residential neighbourhoods run from older homes near the common to newer subdivisions on the edges. The newer ones have construction-fill lawns that respond dramatically to a few seasons of aeration and compost topdressing.

Deer pressure in the wooded sections is significant, and arborvitae planted as screening on a Foxborough woodland lot gets stripped to a browse line. We design around it with holly, inkberry, juniper and spruce instead.

Event traffic is a genuine scheduling factor here, and we build around it rather than fighting it. Residential routes run mid-week where possible, and commercial frontage work on the Route 1 corridor gets done well outside event days when access to the properties is normal.
